Let’s take a look at some of the reasons people may think AmeriPlan ® is a scam

I was scammed by an AmeriPlan ®  IBO. 

Unfortunately, there might be some truth to this statement.   AmeriPlan ®  has over 40,000 independent business owners (IBO’s).  While AmeriPlan ®  has strict policies on the marketing strategies used by their IBO’s they cannot police every ad posted in a classified ad or everything said during a presentation of the business opportunity or the benefits program.  There are some IBO’s who attempt to make this sound like a job.  It isn’t!  It’s a business opportunity with start up costs and a $50 monthly fee we pay to the company for the use of their credit card processing equipment and maintenance, the over 300 customer service reps that are there to support you and your members and the regional office that are available for you to use.

Some people feel scammed by AmeriPlan ®  when they find out they actually have to work in order to get paid.  As with any business you will need to work in order to make a significant income.  This may be easier for some and harder for others. The truth is this business isn’t for everyone.  It’s for those who really want change in their lives.  And that change will take work!

You need to be truthful to anyone who is interested in becoming an IBO. 

AmeriPlan ®  is a Scam! No providers accepted the card!

The truth is AmeriPlan ®   is accepted at over 500,000 providers throughout the country.  However, either the member doesn’t read how to use the program or the IBO didn’t explain it thoroughly. At times AmeriPlan ®  will use a third party provider network.  For example AmeriPlan ®’s vision provider is Coast to Coast.  If you walked into a vision center and asked if they accepted AmeriPlan ®  they would probably say no.  However, if you asked them if they accepted Coast to Coast they would probably say yes. 

We encourage our IBO’s to take the time to ensure that their members know how to use the program. 

AmeriPlan ®  is a Scam! I couldn’t quit and they kept charging me!It’s easy to stop your AmeriPlan ® membership.  Just email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your member or IBO ID.  Your cancellations will take effect 30 days after you notify AmeriPlan ® .  So, you will go through the billing cycle one last time.
